She is interested in weird human interactions and their impact on the subconscious. Using open-source technology to create lighthearted and publicly accessible experiences, Laura believes in a low-tech approach so that the work has a greater chance of reaching the general public and having a bigger impact. She typically uses tools such as web platforms, virtual reality, portable objects, multi-user environments and physical computing. Laura has exhibited her work at MoMA PS1, CMU and the Museum of the Moving Image; her group projects have been exhibited at Grand Central Terminal, Time Squares in New York City, and at the IDFA DocLab in Amsterdam. Laura currently works at Planeta and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
