• About ARTE

  ARTE  is a public French-German television network that has supported European culture since the early  ’90s. Most of its programming is provided by its French and German partners, including ZDF. About 55% of the programs are documentaries, 25% are feature films and 15% are news-related programs, while 5% feature music and other performing arts. ARTE’s mission is to strengthen understanding and ties amongst people in Europe through culture and inspiring, innovative programs.
