Outdoors fanatic, kayaker, skier and climber Sarah McNair-Landry is known worldwide for her insatiable desire to explore Nunavut, “the territory you never finish discovering.” In April 2020, accompanied by her partner, Erik Boomer, and their spirited team of huskies, this Canadian artist and adventurer began recording a fascinating cinematic travelogue, filled with images of breathtaking Arctic landscapes. Trekking from Iqaluit to Idaho, with a pit-stop at an Ottawa hotel, the short documentary My 2020 is a meditation on isolation, freedom, the future of recreational tourism and the silent power of wide-open spaces.
