Directed by Wylem Decaille, the film follows the ensemble as they prepare for their Christmas concert, revealing the group’s passion and commitment. Long Synopsis

Jireh Gospel: Hearts in Chorus is a vibrant and intimate portrait of the beloved Montreal ensemble that has been uplifting audiences for more than 20 years. Directed by Wylem Decaille, the film offers a heartfelt glimpse behind the scenes as the singers prepare for their much-anticipated Christmas concert.

Through soulful performances and candid moments, the documentary reveals how gospel music transcends the stage, becoming an act of faith, memory and healing, rooted in the richness of Afro-descendant heritage. Led by the charismatic Carol Bernard, Jireh brings together voices from across Montreal’s Black community and beyond, united by joy, resilience and a shared love of song.
